We are committed to respecting these rules to preserve the site’s heritage. While some operators may still advertise camping on the terraces, be advised that this goes against the official guidelines. To ensure an authentic and respectful experience, we have chosen Marampata, a picturesque location close to Choquequirao, as our official camping site. We strive to provide you with a memorable experience while upholding the integrity of this magnificent site.
Day 3: Retracing Ancient Paths – Choquequirao to Chiquisca
Awaken to the serenity of an Andean morning and fuel up with a sumptuous breakfast. Today, you retrace the steps of the Incas, journeying back through the mystical embrace of Choquequirao towards Santa Rosa. This segment of your trek is steeped in history, with every step echoing the past.
Your descent takes you to Rosalinas Beach along the Apurimac River, a historical pathway offering a refreshing break for a moment of reflection.
