Arequipa – Colca Canyon – Arequipa
Start your day early at 3:00 a.m. with a pickup from your hotel and drive to Chivay. Enjoy breakfast in the village before heading to the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint, where you’ll marvel at the flight of the majestic Andean condor and take in the breathtaking views of the Colca Canyon.
On the return journey, stop at scenic viewpoints like Antahuilque and Choquetico, and visit traditional villages such as Maca and Yanque. Relax in the thermal baths of La Calera before enjoying a hearty lunch in Chivay. Conclude the day with stops at Patapampa (4,910m) for panoramic views of nearby volcanoes and the Aguada Blanca and Salinas Reserve, where you’ll observe llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas.
